Add the San Marzano tomatoes, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano to the saucepan. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to low and let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Once thickened, stir in the chopped fresh basil and remove from heat.

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).

Assemble the Pizza
Spread a generous layer of the prepared San Marzano sauce over your pizza crust. Make sure to cover the entire surface evenly.
