Method

Meatballs Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, eggs, chopped parsley, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Mix until well combined.

  3. 3

    Form the Meatballs

Using your hands, form the mixture into meatballs, about 1-1.5 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. 4

    Bake the Meatballs

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.

Marinara Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Sauté the Onions and Garlic

In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

  2. 6

    Add Tomatoes and Seasoning

Pour in the crushed tomatoes and add dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir well to combine.

  3. 7

    Simmer the Sauce

Bring the sauce to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Garlic Parmesan Toast Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.

  2. 9

    Mix Butter and Seasoning

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.

  3. 10

    Spread the Mixture

Spread the butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.

  4. 11

    Bake the Toast

Bake in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crispy.
