Preparing the Sauce

Add the San Marzano tomatoes, salt, black pepper, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes. Stir to combine.

Simmer the sauce for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Remove from heat and set aside.
Preparing the toppings

Prepare the Toppings
While the sauce is simmering, prepare the toppings. Slice the mushrooms, and quarter the artichoke hearts.

Slice the fresh mozzarella and shred the provolone cheese.
Assembling the Pizza

Assemble the Pizza
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

Transfer the rolled dough onto a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread an even layer of the San Marzano sauce over the dough.

Evenly distribute the sliced mushrooms, prosciutto, artichoke hearts, and fresh mozzarella over the sauce.

Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese on top.

Bake the Pizza
Place the assembled pizza in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Before serving, sprinkle fresh basil leaves over the top.
