Burger Assembly

Method

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 1

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well until evenly combined.

  2. 2

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center to prevent them from puffing up during cooking.

Cook the Bacon

  1. 3

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.

  2. 4

Once cooked, transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess grease.

Cook the Burger Patties

  1. 5

In the same skillet, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

  2. 6

Flip the patties, and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Brunch Burger

  1. 7

Toast the burger buns lightly in the skillet or a toaster.

  2. 8

Spread mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.

  3. 9

Place the cooked burger patty with melted cheese on top of the mayonnaise.

  4. 10

Add crispy bacon, lettuce, sliced tomato, and pickles to the burger.

  5. 11

Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the bun, then place it on top of the assembled burger.
