Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Steak Tips

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak tips with salt and pepper. Add them to the skillet and sauté until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the diced onion and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until the onions are translucent and the mushrooms are tender. Add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.

  4. 4

    Create the Marsala Sauce

Pour the Marsala wine into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for about 3 minutes to reduce slightly. Add the beef broth and bring to a simmer.

  5. 5

    Combine Everything

Add the sautéed steak tips back into the skillet along with the fresh spinach. Cook until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes. Toss in the cooked penne pasta and mix well to combine.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Steak Tip Marsala hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
