Preparation of Olive Salad Mix

Prepare the Olive Salad
In a medium bowl, combine the green olives, black olives, cauliflower, carrots, and celery.

In a separate small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, and black pepper.

Pour the oil and vinegar mixture over the chopped vegetables and toss well to combine. Set aside to let the flavors meld.
Assembly of Muffuletta

Slice the Bread
Slice the Italian or French bread in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom.

Spread Garlic
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Spread the garlic evenly on the cut sides of the bread.

Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of the bread, layer the mozzarella cheese, ham, and pepperoni.

Spoon the prepared olive salad mix generously over the meats and cheese.

Cap with the top half of the bread.
Serving the Muffuletta

Slice and Serve
Cut the assembled muffuletta into slices of your desired size, either medium or large, and serve immediately. Enjoy!
