Prepare the Glass
Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into coarse salt to coat. Set aside.

Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
