Cooking Instructions

1

Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the mushrooms and onion, and mince the garlic. Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.

2

Cook the Chicken

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

3

Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the remaining butter. Add the onions and garlic, and sauté until the onions are translucent. Then add the mushrooms and cook until they are browned, about 5 minutes.

4

Add Marsala Wine

Pour in the Marsala wine and bring to a simmer, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Let it reduce for about 3-4 minutes.

5

Combine and Serve

Return the chicken to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
