Salad Preparation

Prepare the Romaine
Wash and dry the Romaine lettuce. Tear it into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the bread into cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Prepare the Dressing
In a bowl, mash the garlic and anchovy fillets together. Add the Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and Parmesan cheese. Gradually whisk in the olive oil until the dressing is emulsified. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Assembly

Combine and Serve
Drizzle the dressing over the Romaine lettuce and toss to combine. Add the croutons and toss gently. Serve immediately, topped with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
