Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash the mixed seasonal berries and cherry tomatoes under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel. Slice the cherry tomatoes in half.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Spiced Pecans

If using plain pecans, toast them in a skillet over medium heat for about 5 minutes until fragrant. Add a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of brown sugar, and a sprinkle of cayenne pepper for spice. Stir until coated and let cool.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Salad

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed berries, cherry tomatoes, spiced pecans, and feta cheese. Tear the basil leaves and add them to the bowl.

  4. 4

    Dress the Salad

Drizzle the citrus vinaigrette over the salad ingredients and gently toss to combine everything evenly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Transfer the salad to a serving platter or individual bowls and serve immediately.
