Method

Vegetable Sides

  1. 1

    Roast the Vegetables

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the carrots and broccoli florets. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Bake

Spread the vegetable mixture on a baking sheet. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized. Stir halfway through for even cooking.

Fruity Sides

  1. 3

    Prepare the Berries

In a bowl, combine the mixed berries. Drizzle honey over the berries and toss gently to coat. Let it sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 4

    Garnish

Chop mint leaves finely and sprinkle over the berry mixture before serving.

Starchy Sides

  1. 5

    Cook Sweet Potatoes

Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into bite-sized cubes. Place them in a pot of boiling water and cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until tender.

  2. 6

    Mash and Flavor

Drain the sweet potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter and cinnamon, then mash until smooth and creamy. Serve warm.
