Sushi Roll Ingredients

Tropical Fruit Topping

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Sushi Rice

Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions. Once cooked, let it cool slightly.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Tuna & Avocado

In a bowl, combine diced fresh tuna with a pinch of salt. Slice the avocado into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Roll the Sushi

Place a sheet of nori on a bamboo sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of cooled sushi rice over the nori, leaving a 1-inch border at the top. Lay the sliced avocado and seasoned tuna in the center, then roll it tightly using the mat.

  4. 4

    Bread the Roll

Dip the sushi roll in beaten egg, then roll it in panko breadcrumbs to coat evenly.

  5. 5

    Fry the Roll

Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the coated sushi roll until golden brown on all sides. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Assembly & Serving

  1. 6

    Prepare the Tropical Topping

In a small bowl, combine diced mango, pineapple, and coconut flakes. Mix well.

  2. 7

    Slice the Roll

Carefully slice the fried sushi roll into bite-sized pieces.

  3. 8

    Plate and Serve

Place the sliced rolls on a serving platter, top with tropical fruit mixture, and serve with soy sauce, wasabi, and Sriracha on the side.
