Marinate the Salmon

In a mixing bowl, combine sake, soy sauce, mirin, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well. Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stove.

Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Place the fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the salmon from the grill and place on a serving platter. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve immediately with steamed rice or your choice of sides.
