Prepare the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). Soak the wood chips in water for at least 30 minutes before using.

Season the Beef
Rub the beef brisket generously with beef rub, ensuring it's evenly coated on all sides.

Smoke the Beef
Place the brisket in the smoker and add the soaked wood chips. Smoke for 1.5 hours per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).

Rest and Chop
Once done, remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. Chop the smoked beef into bite-sized pieces.

Serve
Serve the chopped smoked beef warm, optionally with barbecue sauce or your favorite sides.
