Brownie Preparation

Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.

Melt the Butter
In a saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mix the Sugars
In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Stir until well combined.

Add Eggs and Vanilla
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips into the brownie batter.
