Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Brisket
Trim any excess fat from the beef brisket and pat it dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Rub
In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, brown sugar, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Rub this mixture all over the brisket.
- 3
Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
- 4
Smoke the Brisket
Place the brisket in the smoker fat side up and smoke for about 1.5 hours per pound, or until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C).
- 5
Prepare the Basting Liquid
While the brisket is smoking, mix beef broth, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl.
- 6
Baste the Brisket
Every hour, baste the brisket with the basting liquid to keep it moist.
- 7
Rest the Brisket
Once the brisket is done, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- 8
Slice and Serve
Slice the brisket against the grain and serve it warm.
