Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with blackening seasoning, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are opaque and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Cream Sauce

In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add cream cheese and heavy cream, stirring until smooth. Stir in pepper jack cheese until melted and combined.

  4. 4

    Combine Shrimp and Crab

Gently fold in the cooked shrimp and lump crab meat to the cream sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on low heat, allowing the flavors to meld. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Bread Bowls

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the bread bowls on a baking sheet and fill each with the shrimp and crab mixture. Top each bowl with shredded mozzarella cheese.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Garnish with sliced green onions and serve immediately with tortilla chips on the side.
