Seafood and Vegetables
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Seafood
In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, scallops, and squid. Season with salt and pepper to taste and set aside.
- 2
Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet or wok, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Then add the sliced mushrooms, red and green bell peppers, and celery. Stir-fry for another 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- 3
Cook the Seafood
Add the seafood mixture to the skillet with the vegetables. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through and opaque.
- 4
Add Spices and Finish
Add Thai spices (such as chili paste, fish sauce, and fresh herbs) to the seafood and vegetable mixture. Stir well to combine and cook for another 2 minutes.
- 5
Steam the Mussels
In a separate pot, add the cleaned mussels with a splash of water, cover, and steam on medium heat until they open, about 5-7 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Serve the stir-fried seafood alongside the steamed mussels, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
