Cauli-Wings Ingredients
Method
Preparation Directions
- 1
Prepare the Cauliflower
Preheat your oil in a deep fryer or a deep pot to 350°F (175°C). Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets.
- 2
Make the Batter
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Gradually add water until you achieve a smooth batter consistency.
- 3
Coat the Cauliflower
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- 4
Fry the Cauliflower
Carefully place the battered cauliflower florets into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.
- 5
Drain and Serve
Remove the fried cauli-wings from the oil and drain on paper towels. Toss in your favorite sauce before serving.
