Oyster Dressing Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

  1. 1

    Sauté Vegetables

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and celery, and sauté until the vegetables are soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, cubed day-old bread, shucked oysters, chicken broth, dried sage, thyme, black pepper, and salt to taste. Gently mix until everything is well combined.

  3. 3

    Add Parsley

Fold in the chopped parsley for added freshness.

  4. 4

    Bake Dressing

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and crispy.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your Oyster Dressing as a flavorful side dish!
