Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

Remove the beef tenderloin from the refrigerator and allow it to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Season the Meat

In a small bowl, combine the crushed black peppercorns and sea salt. Rub the mixture evenly over the beef tenderloin. Drizzle with olive oil.

  3. 3

    Sear the Tenderloin

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned beef tenderloin and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side until a nice crust forms.

  4. 4

    Add Aromatics

Mince the garlic cloves and chop the fresh rosemary. Add them to the skillet for the last minute of searing, cooking alongside the meat.

  5. 5

    Finish Cooking

Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) and roast for an additional 10-12 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  6. 6

    Rest and Serve

Remove the tenderloin from the oven, cover it with foil, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve with your choice of sides.
