Loaded Fries or Baked Potato Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Potatoes

If using baked potatoes, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Pierce the potatoes with a fork and bake for 45-60 minutes until tender. If using frozen fries, cook them according to package instructions until crispy.

  2. 2

    Add Toppings

Once the fries or baked potatoes are ready, remove them from the oven. For fries, spread them out on a baking sheet. For baked potatoes, cut them open lengthwise.

  3. 3

    Layer Cheese and Bacon

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the hot fries or inside the baked potatoes. Top with crumbled bacon.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Return the loaded fries or baked potatoes to the oven for about 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Finish and Serve

Remove from the oven, add a dollop of sour cream, and drizzle with salsa if desired. Garnish with sliced green onions, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
