Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the Russet potatoes. Cut them into crinkle-cut shapes using a crinkle cutter or a knife.

Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the soaked potatoes to the hot oil in batches. Fry them for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Drain and Season
Remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels. Season immediately with salt, black pepper, and paprika to taste.
