Method

Prepare the Marinade

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chili paste, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Salmon

  1. 2

    Marinate

Place the Atlantic salmon fillets in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring they are evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Salmon

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill/Pan

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and place it on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is medium rare, basting with the reserved marinade occasionally.

Prepare the Vegetables

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a separate skillet, add a splash of sesame oil and heat over medium heat. Add the chopped bok choy and sliced mushrooms. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender. Add the bean sprouts and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the chopped chives.

Serve

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Plate the sautéed vegetables and place the grilled salmon fillets on top. Drizzle any remaining marinade over the salmon and serve immediately.
