Method

Sausage Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Sausage Patties

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix until well combined.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the sausage mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sausage patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and set aside.

Scrambled Eggs

  1. 4

    Beat the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

  2. 5

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, melt the butter over medium-low heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are just set but still creamy, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Toast the English Muffins

Split the English muffins in half and lightly butter the cut sides. Toast them in the skillet or toaster until golden brown.

  2. 7

    Assemble the Patty Melt

On the bottom half of each toasted English muffin, place a sausage patty, followed by a generous portion of scrambled eggs, and top with a slice of American cheese. Cover with the other half of the muffin.

  3. 8

    Serve

Serve the sausage patty melts warm and enjoy!
