Method

Hot Dog

  1. 1

    Boil or Grill Hot Dogs

In a pot of boiling water, add the hot dog sausages and cook for about 5-7 minutes until heated through. Alternatively, grill them on medium heat for about 5-6 minutes, turning occasionally.

  2. 2

    Prepare Hot Dog Buns

While the sausages are cooking, split the hot dog buns open without cutting all the way through. Optionally, toast them on a grill or in a toaster oven for extra flavor.

  3. 3

    Assemble Hot Dogs

Place each cooked hot dog sausage into a bun. Top with mustard, ketchup, and relish according to your taste.

French Fries

  1. 4

    Prepare Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips or wedges, depending on your preference for fry shape.

  2. 5

    Heat Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Use a thermometer for accuracy.

  3. 6

    Fry Potatoes

Carefully add the cut potatoes to the hot oil in batches to avoid overcrowding. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

  4. 7

    Drain and Season

Using a slotted spoon, remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels. While they are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
