Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Rub the hanger steak with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to high heat. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Mashed Potatoes Preparation

  1. 3

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into quarters. Place them in a large pot, cover with water, and add 1 tsp of salt. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 4

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Grilled Asparagus Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Asparagus

Trim the tough ends off the asparagus and place them in a bowl. Drizzle with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

  2. 6

    Grill the Asparagus

Place the asparagus on the grill and cook for about 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.
