Frying the Seafood

1

Prepare the Breading

In a large bowl, mix flour, cornmeal, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and Old Bay seasoning. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and milk.

2

Coat the Seafood

Dip the shrimp and oysters into the egg mixture, then dredge in the flour mixture, ensuring they are well-coated.

3

Fry the Seafood

Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the shrimp and oysters in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Making Hush Puppies

4

Mix Ingredients

In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, baking powder, sugar, and chopped onion. In another bowl, whisk together milk and egg.

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, relish, and lemon juice. Mix well.

7

Make Cocktail Sauce

In another bowl, mix ketchup and horseradish together to taste.
