1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Prepare the Mushrooms
Carefully clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems. Set the caps aside and finely chop the stems.
3. Cook the Garlic
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and chopped mushroom stems. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
4. Mix the Filling
In a large bowl, combine the sautéed mixture with blue crab meat, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, green onions, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
5. Stuff the Mushrooms
Using a spoon, fill each mushroom cap generously with the crab mixture.
6. Bake
Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, until the tops are golden and the mushrooms are tender.
