Method

Preparation of Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Rinse and Dry

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. This ensures a crispy skin once cooked.

  2. 2

    Seasoning Mix

In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and baking powder.

  3. 3

    Coat Wings

Add the dried chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.

Cooking the Wings

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

  2. 5

    Arrange Wings

Spread the coated chicken wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  3. 6

    Bake

Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.

Making the Buffalo Sauce

  1. 7

    Melt Butter

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter until it is completely liquid.

  2. 8

    Combine Ingredients

Add the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, honey, and salt to the melted butter. Stir until well combined.

  3. 9

    Simmer

Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally.

Tossing and Serving

  1. 10

    Toss Wings in Sauce

Once the wings are cooked, remove them from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the wings and toss them until they are well coated.

  2. 11

    Serve

Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
