Method

Pasta and Lobster

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2

Poach the Lobster

In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add lobster tails and cook gently for about 5-7 minutes until cooked through. Remove and chop into bite-sized pieces.

Mornay Sauce

3

Make the Roux

In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until slightly golden.

4

Add Milk

Gradually whisk in milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.

5

Add Cheeses

Remove from heat and stir in Gruyère and Parmigiano Reggiano until melted. Season with salt, black pepper, and nutmeg.

Combine and Bake

6

Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, mix cooked macaroni, lobster pieces, and mornay sauce until well combined.

7

Bake

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish. Drizzle with truffle oil and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden and bubbly.

Garlic Toast

8

Prepare Garlic Toast

Mix softened butter with minced garlic. Spread on each slice of bread. Grill or toast until golden brown.
