Marinate the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, hot sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

Add chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are fully submerged. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
Prepare the Breading

In a shallow dish, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, cayenne pepper, and salt. Mix well.
Fry the Chicken

Heat Oil
In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Bread the Chicken
Remove chicken from marinade, shaking off excess. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture, ensuring an even coating.

Fry the chicken pieces in hot oil for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Build the Sandwich
Spread a generous amount of Dab sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Place a piece of fried chicken on top, followed by coleslaw and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
