Preparation Steps
- 1
Cook the Chicken
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and cook the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- 2
Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- 3
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the remaining butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, and cream cheese. Stir continuously until all cheeses are melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- 4
Combine and Bake
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked fettuccine, sliced chicken, and Alfredo sauce. Mix until well combined. Transfer to a greased baking dish. Brush with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with extra Parmesan cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
- 5
Serve
Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.
