Prep Seafood

Prepare the Shellfish
Rinse the sea scallops, shrimp, New Zealand baby clams, and calamari under cold water. Pat them dry with paper towels.
Cook Pasta

Cook the Pappardelle Pasta
In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fresh pappardelle pasta according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 3-4 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Make Sauce

Sauté Garlic
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add Wine and Broth
Pour in the white wine and vegetable broth. Bring to a simmer, allowing the alcohol to cook off for about 2-3 minutes.

Finish the Sauce
Stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley into the sauce, mixing well.
Combine and Serve

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked pappardelle pasta to the skillet with the seafood and sauce. Toss gently to combine and coat the pasta with the sauce.

Plate the frutti di mare and garnish with additional parsley, if desired. Serve hot.
