Method

Prepare the pasta

  1. 1

    Cook the fettuccine

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cook the seafood and vegetables

  1. 2

    Sauté the garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  2. 3

    Add scallops

Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. 4

    Cook the clams

In the same skillet, add the clams. Pour in 1/4 cup of water and cover the skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the clams have opened up. Discard any clams that do not open.

  4. 5

    Add broccoli

Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are bright green and tender.

Combine and serve

  1. 6

    Mix everything together

Add the cooked fettuccine, sautéed scallops, and clams back into the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to taste. Toss everything gently until well combined and heated through.

  2. 7

    Garnish and serve

Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve with lemon wedges on the side.
