Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fruits

Wash all the fruits thoroughly. Slice the oranges, lemons, and limes into thin rounds. Core and chop the apple into bite-sized pieces. If using strawberries, slice them in half, and if using blueberries, leave them whole.

  2. 2

    Combine the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the sliced fruits (oranges, lemons, limes, apples, and berries), red wine, orange juice, brandy, and granulated sugar. Stir gently to mix.

Chill and Serve

  1. 3

    Chill the Sangria

Cover the pitcher with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible. This allows the flavors to meld together.

  2. 4

    Add Sparkling Water

Just before serving, add the sparkling water to the pitcher and stir gently to combine. If desired, adjust sweetness by adding more sugar to taste.

  3. 5

    Serve

Pour the sangria into glasses filled with ice and garnish with additional fruit slices if desired. Enjoy!
