Prepare the Glass
Chill an Old Fashioned glass by filling it with ice water. Set aside.

Mix the Ingredients
In a mixing glass, combine 2 oz of Evan Williams Bonded Bourbon, 4 dashes of Sugar House Bitters Blend, and 1 tsp of cane sugar.

Add Water
Pour 1 oz of water into the mixing glass to help dissolve the sugar.

Stir the Mixture
Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to combine all the ingredients thoroughly and chill the drink.

Prepare the Glass
Empty the ice water from the chilled Old Fashioned glass.

Strain and Serve
Strain the mixture from the mixing glass into the prepared Old Fashioned glass over a large ice cube.

Add Garnish
Garnish with a slice of orange peel and a maraschino cherry for an aromatic finish.
