Method

Prepare Cheese Mixture

  1. 1

    Mix the Cheese Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and grated Parmesan cheese. Use a hand mixer or a spatula to blend until smooth and creamy.

Add Crab and Seasoning

  1. 2

    Incorporate Crab and Seasoning

Gently fold in the jumbo lump crab meat, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and fresh lemon juice into the cheese mixture. Be careful not to break up the crab meat too much. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Bake the Dip

  1. 3

    Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the crab dip mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  2. 4

    Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly, and the top is slightly golden.

Serve

  1. 5

    Prepare for Serving

While the dip is baking, slice the baguette into 1-inch pieces and arrange on a platter. Also arrange the assorted crudités on the platter.

  2. 6

    Serve Warm

Once the dip is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with the sliced baguette and crisp crudités for scooping.
