Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ground Beef

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into two 8 oz patties, making a slight indentation in the center.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness. Add sharp cheddar cheese on top of each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  3. 3

    Fry the Eggs

In a separate pan, fry the eggs sunny-side up for about 2-3 minutes or until the whites are set but the yolks remain runny.

House Bacon Aioli Preparation

  1. 4

    Prepare the Aioli

In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Chop the cooked bacon finely and mix it into the aioli. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Build the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom half, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cheeseburger patty, a slice of tomato, a generous dollop of bacon aioli, and finally, top with the sunny-side up egg. Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
