Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Patty
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form into one large patty, about half a pound in weight.
- 2
Heat the Grill
Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Add a tablespoon of cooking oil to prevent sticking.
- 3
Cook the Burger
Place the patty on the grill. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes, or until it reaches your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place the cheese slices on top of the patty to melt.
- 5
Assemble the Burger
Toast the burger buns if desired. On the bottom half of the bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, onion slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
- 6
Serve
Serve the Omaha Burger immediately with your choice of sides.
