Prepare the Rim
On a small plate, combine the coarse salt and crushed pink peppercorns. Moisten the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with a lime wedge. Dip the rim into the salt and pink peppercorn mixture until well-coated.

Mix the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine vodka, strawberry puree, and black peppercorn simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.

Serve
Strain the mixture into the prepared cocktail glass. Garnish with a whole strawberry or a few black peppercorns, if desired.
