Marrakesh Burger Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef or lamb with chermoula, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until fully incorporated.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into equal portions and shape them into burger patties. Make sure they are slightly larger than the burger buns as they will shrink while cooking.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Spread a generous amount of hummus on the bottom half of each bun. Place the cooked patty on top, followed by crumbled goat cheese, oil-cured Moroccan olives, and fresh cilantro. Top with the other half of the bun.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the Marrakesh Burger warm with additional hummus or olives on the side, if desired.
