Beef Patties

Buns and Cheese

Method

Beef Patties

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and form into 4oz patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip and top with cheese. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until desired doneness.

Toasting Buns

  1. 3

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the potato buns on a separate skillet or under a broiler until golden brown.

Coleslaw

  1. 4

    Make the Coleslaw

In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and set aside.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Assemble the Burger

Place each cooked patty on the bottom half of the toasted bun, add a generous amount of coleslaw on top, and cover with the other half of the bun.
