Method

Prime Rib

  1. 1

    Prepare the Prime Rib

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and olive oil to create a rub. Pat the prime rib roast dry with paper towels and apply the rub evenly over the meat.

  2. 2

    Roast the Prime Rib

Place the roast in a roasting pan, fat side up. Roast in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, reduce the temperature to 325°F (163°C) and continue roasting for about 1.5 to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches your desired doneness (130°F for medium-rare).

  3. 3

    Rest Before Serving

Remove the prime rib from the oven, cover it loosely with foil, and let it rest for at least 20 minutes before carving.

Mashed Potatoes

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cube the russet potatoes. Place them in a large pot and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil over high heat.

  2. 5

    Cook the Potatoes

Once boiling, reduce to medium heat and cook until the potatoes are fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain the potatoes well.

  3. 6

    Mash the Potatoes

Return the drained potatoes to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assorted Vegetables

  1. 7

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and cut the carrots, green beans, and zucchini into bite-sized pieces.

  2. 8

    Cook the Vegetables

Steam or boil the vegetables in a pot of salted water until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Caesar Salad

  1. 9

    Prepare the Salad

Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a large salad bowl.

  2. 10

    Assemble the Salad

Add the Parmesan cheese, croutons, and Caesar dressing to the bowl with the lettuce. Toss well to combine.

Dinner Rolls

  1. 11

    Serve the Dinner Rolls

Warm the dinner rolls in the oven for a few minutes if desired. Arrange them on a serving platter.
