Method

Burger

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined and form into two equal patties, about 7 oz each.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Mushrooms and Onions

In the same skillet, add sliced mushrooms and diced onions. Sauté until mushrooms are browned and onions are caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Patties

In the skillet, cook the beef patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. Place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the beef patty with melted cheese, bacon, sautéed mushrooms, caramelized onions, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Coleslaw

  1. 6

    Prepare the Vegetables

Shred the green cabbage and carrot using a grater or food processor.

  2. 7

    Mix the Dressing

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

  3. 8

    Combine Coleslaw

Add the shredded cabbage and carrot to the dressing mixture. Toss until well coated. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Fries

  1. 9

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips for fries.

  2. 10

    Heat the Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).

  3. 11

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

  4. 12

    Seasoning

Sprinkle with salt to taste while hot.
