Method

Ribs

  1. 1

    Prep the Ribs

Preheat your grill or oven to 150°C (300°F). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and brown sugar.

  2. 2

    Cook the Ribs

Place the ribs on the grill or in the oven, bone side down. Cook for 2-3 hours until tender. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last 30 minutes.

Pulled Pork

  1. 3

    Prepare the Pork

Rub the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Place in a slow cooker.

  2. 4

    Cook the Pork

Add BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 hours or on high for 4 hours until the pork is tender and falls apart easily.

  3. 5

    Shred the Pork

Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Mix with additional BBQ sauce if desired.

Wings

  1. 6

    Prep the Wings

Preheat your grill or oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the chicken wings with salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.

  2. 7

    Cook the Wings

Place the wings on the grill or in the oven. Cook for 40-45 minutes, turning halfway through.

  3. 8

    Add Sauce

In a bowl, mix melted butter and hot sauce. Toss the cooked wings in the sauce before serving.

Baked Beans

  1. 9

    Prep the Beans

In a large pot, combine canned baked beans, chopped onion, brown sugar, mustard, and BBQ sauce.

  2. 10

    Cook the Beans

Simmer over medium heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally until heated through.

Spinach Salad

  1. 11

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine fresh spinach, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and crumbled feta cheese.

  2. 12

    Dress the Salad

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper. Drizzle over the salad and toss before serving.

Cornbread Muffins

  1. 13

    Prepare the Muffin Batter

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). In a bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, and melted butter.

  2. 14

    Combine and Bake

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Pour batter into a greased muffin tin and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
