Method

Prepare the Lemonade

  1. 1

    Juice the Lemons

Roll the lemons on a countertop to soften them. Cut them in half and use a juicer to extract the juice into a measuring cup. You should have about 1 cup of lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Mix Sugar and Water

In a pitcher, combine the granulated sugar with 4 cups of water. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. 3

    Combine Lemon Juice

Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice to the pitcher with the sugar-water mixture. Stir well to combine.

Infuse with Mint

  1. 4

    Prepare the Mint

Rinse the fresh mint leaves under cold water to remove any dirt. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. 5

    Infuse the Mint

Add the mint leaves to the lemonade mixture in the pitcher. Use a wooden spoon to gently muddle the mint leaves to release their flavor. Let the mixture sit for at least 30 minutes.

Serve

  1. 6

    Strain and Serve

After the mixture has infused, strain the lemonade into glasses filled with ice. Discard the mint leaves.

  2. 7

    Garnish

Garnish each glass with lemon slices and a sprig of mint. Serve immediately.
