Prepare the Tea

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium heat.

  2. 2

    Steep Tea

  3. 3

    Remove Tea Bags

After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature.

Make the Mango Mixture

  1. 4

    Prepare Mangoes

Peel and dice the ripe mangoes into small pieces. You should have about 2 large mangoes worth.

  2. 5

    Blend Mixture

In a blender, combine the diced mangoes, 1 tablespoon of sugar or honey, and 2 tablespoons of lemon juice. Blend until smooth.

  3. 6

    Strain Mixture

If desired, strain the mango mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove any pulp for a smoother texture.

Combine and Serve

  1. 7

    Combine Tea and Mango

In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea and the mango mixture. Stir well to combine.

  2. 8

    Add Ice and Garnish

To serve, fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the mango iced tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh mint leaves.

  3. 9

    Chill and Enjoy

For best flavor, refrigerate the mango iced tea for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve cold and enjoy!
