Beef Tenderloin Ingredients
Method
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Beef
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rub the beef tenderloin with olive oil, then season with salt and black pepper evenly over the entire surface.
- 2
Sear the Tenderloin
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sear the beef tenderloin for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- 3
Roast the Tenderloin
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20-25 minutes for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130°F for medium-rare).
- 4
Rest and Slice
Once cooked, remove the beef from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.
- 5
Assemble the Dish
Serve sliced beef tenderloin topped with queso, pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, and crumbled queso fresco.
