Mac & Cheese Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Macaroni

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute until lightly golden. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.

  3. 3

    Add the Cheeses

Reduce heat to low and add the cheddar, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and smooth. Season with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

  4. 4

    Combine with Macaroni

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce and stir until well combined.

  5. 5

    Transfer to Baking Dish

Pour the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.

  6. 6

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your homemade mac & cheese!
